Apply to the Spring 2026 Regenerative Residency!
Applications open through December 12th for our March residency!
Readers of Content,
We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for our sixth Regenerative Residency, hosted at the Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming in Cold Spring, New York. We’ve hosted this residency for three years now, welcoming 7 writers to Glynwood for three-week residencies, and are excited to return for a new season in March 2026.
An extension of our interest in cross-pollinating food and literature, this residency provides time and space to develop an existing project, explore new ideas, or spend some time lying artistically fallow between periods of production and growth. We provide housing in the lovely Clove Cottage, weekly grocery deliveries to keep your kitchen stocked, and a small travel stipend if needed to help get you there.
As we look toward 2026, we’re accepting applications for two writers to join our March residency, which will be held from March 2 to March 23, 2026. Applications are open today, November 7th, through Friday December 12th, and decisions will be announced by January 1st, 2026.
We aim to support early to mid-career writers for whom three weeks at a place like Glynwood would be a significant support to their work. You may have published a few stories or poems and have a manuscript nearing completion; you may be working on your second book, or even third. We’re primarily looking for writers working in literary fiction, poetry, and narrative nonfiction, but are always open to work that crosses lines or falls outside of these categories. Your work definitely does not need to focus on food or farming, but we would like to be able to imagine how spending time in this landscape might contribute to it. (Check out our past residents or our Instagram with past TOC Reading Series authors to get a sense of the type of work that excites us most.)
Learn more and apply online (it’s a brief and hopefully easy application!) You can also watch a recording of our online panel with some residency alumni as they discuss their time at the residency and answer audience-submitted questions about their experience.
A huge thanks to our season sponsor, Maker’s Mark and the Maker’s Mark Regenerative Alliance, for supporting our Regenerative Residency in 2026, and to Glynwood for being our gracious and inspiring residency home.
