Open Applications for our Regenerative Residency in Cold Spring, NY
A new residency, plus a virtual panel with past residents and tickets to our upcoming Redwall Dinner
Dear Readers of Content,
We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for our fifth Regenerative Residency, hosted at the Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming in Cold Spring, New York.
This residency is an artist support program envisioned for early and mid-career writers who would benefit from time in a quiet place with a strong connection to the land and regenerative agriculture. We’re looking for residents working in literary fiction, poetry, and narrative nonfiction. (Check out our past residents or our Instagram to get a sense of the type of work that excites us most.)
An extension of Tables of Contents' work blending food, literature, and art, this residency provides time and space to develop an existing project, explore new ideas, or to lie artistically fallow between periods of production and growth.
This year, we’re accepting applications for two writers to join our October residency, which will be held from October 14th to November 4th.
Learn more and apply online and join us on June 18th for an online panel with our alumni as they discuss their time at the residency and answer audience-submitted questions about their experience.
In more Glynwood-related news, we’ll also be hosting our long-anticipated Redwall Dinner on Glynwood’s picturesque grounds on Saturday, June 28th.
As some of you know, we had this dinner in the works last fall before a conflict forced us to change the date, and we're thrilled to finally have a new one! Join us on Saturday, June 28th where we’ll be simmering up shrimp and hotroot soup, mixing strawberry fizz, pouring October Ale, and laying a table thick with soft, golden, and nut-studded cheeses alongside a spread of Abbey scoff that would make any hare or mousemaid proud.
In addition to seats at the Redwall table, we’re especially excited to be able to offer rooms for overnight stays for those who want to curl up in a comfortable bed after some glasses of pear cordial by the fire, and wake up to some fresh bread, cheese, and a few more pasties for breakfast the next morning. Overnight guests can also arrive to Glynwood earlier in the day Saturday for check-in and take a stroll around the property before dinner.
If you’re a paid subscriber, you received a discount code in our last email announcing the dinner. Write us if you have any issues accessing that discount! Can’t wait to see you there.
